Juliet Heller's Bio
Juliet Heller was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and has worked locally, nationally and internationally. After graduating from Indiana University, Bloomington with dual degrees in both Theatre and English, Juliet moved to London where she appeared in the title role of Mrs. Pinchwife in The Country Wife, produced at the Diorama Studio Theatre. After moving back to the US, Juliet appeared Off-Off Broadway as the Ghost of Christmas Past in Charles Dicken’s: A Christmas Carol with Personal Space Theatrics as well as in Rock Out! at the New York International Fringe Festival.

Local credits include her work as Alexa Vere de Vere in New Conservatory Theatre Center’s production of As Bees In Honey Drown, which drew praise for her performance from the Tony nominated playwright of the show, Douglas Carter Beane. Other Bay Area work includes San Jose Stage Company, Arclight Repertory Company, 42nd Street Moon, Willows Theatre Company, Custom Made Theatre Company, Marin Mountain Play, and Woodminster.

Recently, Juliet completed a pick up shot as a Swing Dancer for the new Lucasfilm picture, Red Tails, directed by George Lucas himself! She is also in pre-production for the independent feature film, One Way Home, as well as just wrapping filming for The Once and Future Bride. Along with all the above, last fall her appearance in The Audition, premiering at the San Francisco Seven Day Film Festival, was nominated for Best Acting!

Juliet also is in preproduction on a few other projects and is currently developing a new radio play based on Jane Austen’s Persuasion. Her training includes work with the City Lit London, The Actor’s Center in NYC and American Conservatory Theatre and Indiana University, Bloomington where she completed her undergraduate degree. She currently resides in the Bay Area with her partner, actor/director/playwright Dan Wilson.
